Get to know me

Hey there! My name is Stacy, and I’m so glad you stumbled upon my page! I’d love to tell you more about myself. I have been passionate about theater since a very young age, in fact, my parents were a “showmance.” A career in the arts has never seemed like an unwise or unrealistic idea, it was simply the only option for me. I cannot imagine being as happy doing anything else with my life. Theater has given me my best friends, my partner, and my found family.

I put my all into every show or project I am lucky enough to be apart of, and I hope it shows in my work. I like to dip my toes into every aspect of theater. While I had my moments onstage with groundbreaking roles like “munchkin #3” in Wizard of Oz and “stone statue” in Lion Witch and the Wardrobe, I have no plans of performing anytime soon. I much prefer being backstage, in fact, I love it. The shows I enjoy most are the ones I am on deck crew or the stage management team. I love being involved in a show from auditions to closing night, and the feeling of community I get from it.

I also love being able to create props and dress a stage to make a world on stage come to life. I’m a lover of details, even the ones only the actors and I will see. My absolute favorite skill to practice however, is scenic painting. I love being able to make a piece of wood look like a slab of marble or a sheet of metal. I love painting an entire town on stage and seeing the casts reaction to stepping into the world they’ve been imagining during rehearsal. If you’ve made it this far, I hope that means you’re interested in working with me! Take a look at my photo gallery and past productions to see my work. If you like what you see, please reach out! I would be honored to be given any opportunity to do more of what I love.
